Summary

Strange things are happening when the lights go down in the shady setting of the Roseville Hospital. There are unexplained sightings of a man resembling a doctor walking the hallways in search of patients he has yet to help. His name was Derek R. Schillar, M.D. He was a complicated man with a desire to help people, but felt that he didn't do enough. Now, his friend has betrayed him, his wife thinks he's dead, a mysterious detective is on his trail, and the medical staff is perplexed at the growing number of inexplicable miraculous phenomena occurring within the hospital walls. Is there an answer? Why is a dying boy drawing pictures of this man? And just who is Mr. Dead Eyes?

Too many illogicalities

I enjoy a good mystery story as much as anyone, but I'm afraid this was too much. Many, many illogicalities - a major operation to remove a brain tumor with only three people, a surgeon and two nurses!! And then the surgeon moves a waste bin after donning his sterile gloves!! No anaesthetist either. Hasn't Mr Scarlato ever watched an operation being performed on TV? Plus the use of irrelevant sound effects. Sound effects are ok in the right places, but not these. The characters were overblown, too much pointless description and rather weird descriptive language. The narration was rather poor with very little variation between character's voices so it's hard to distinguish who is supposed to be speaking. I won't spoil the plot for anyone wanting to read/listen to this rubbish, but the above is just a small sample of problems. I think there is a decent plot in there somewhere, but this is not it.
