Summary
Charm. Old money. A six-pack. Loves dogs. He'd be the perfect guy - if I wasn't suing him.
Mr. Hot-shot lawyer has no idea I'm the girl he swore he'd have his day in court with.
I lied.
Gave him a fake name.
I couldn't wait to see the look on his face when we'd meet again in small claims. But the kiss we shared under the stars was explosive. Fueled by months of pent-up anger. Maybe he had figured out who I was, after all, the girl who fell for Mr. July.
She thinks she's playing me. Newsflash: I'm playing her. I know exactly who Ms. Lawsuit is. But I wasn't expecting her long tanned legs, sunkissed hair, and innocent eyes to distract me from annihilating her. Maybe it's time to change this game around. After all my mama always said make love instead of war.
Authors Note: This is a full-length 60k-plus word stand-alone novel. HEA, no cheating.

Great chemistry
These characters have great chemistry between them. With a fiery personality the leading lady has brilliant characteristics and a heart of gold. A excellent performance from Rodney as usual with his productions.

This was fun
I really enjoyed this book. It did not go in the direction I thought it would. I mean the couple gets together and there is a HEA but the events that happened were unpredictable to me. I liked the characters and there was low angst. This was one of my favorite performances by Rodney Falcon. Besides his MC books of course. He did a great job with the characters. I have listened to Rodney For a while now and tbh I didn’t care for his female voices in the early days but this performance was great. I think he has learned how to make the female voice noticeable without actually trying to sound like a woman. I definitely recommend this book.

Corny but funny
Ryan (female) rents a house to have a Hen's Night with her friends. The place ends up getting trashed by her frenemy, which unfairly foots Ryan with the damage bill. The house owner open's a legal case against Ryan and she counter sues him, thus introducing the love interests. This book was kind of corny throughout with Mr July being depicted as a Catch, but I found him to be super annoying with his Big Head antics. However the banta between Ryan and Mr July was very funny and made the book worth reading.
