It makes you realise the power of simple storytelling.

Arthur Lowe, a man that one imagines is rarely considered avuncular, animates the well-crafted stories with warmth, passion and humour.

It's a brief collection which I remember owning on 33.3 vinyl and playing until I could hear the feint sounds of side 1 when playing side 2,

Thankfully someone has cleaned up the album - de-clicked and de-hissed it and now I've just streamed it in my car via Bluetooth for my daughter.

I am Mr Progress.

Looking forward to Volume 2. My daughter that is. Obviously.

I cannot praise these enough. I play these to my children at night and they love it. Arthur Lowe is fantastic, his voice lends itself to the characters. The best children’s purchase I’ve made on here.

My 3 year old loves the mr men books, thought an audio book would be good for rainy days indoors, he lives it and when it finishes wants to know where they have gone . Good listening and sounds
