About this listen
The BRAND NEW instalment in bestselling author T. A. Williams' Armstrong and Oscar cozy mystery series!
A brand-new cozy crime series set in gorgeous Italy... It's murder in paradise!
An old friend in need…
Despite being retired from the police, Dan Armstrong is always on hand to help with solving a crime. So, when he’s contacted by an old colleague in need of help, Dan readily agrees. The only problem Dan can see is the location – an isolated mountain-top campsite of UFO enthusiasts.
An unexplained death...
But these are no ordinary star watchers, and when Dan arrives one member of the group is already dead. Some of the group suspect alien abduction, but Dan is sure the killer is much closer to home.
An out of this world case?
Dan doesn’t believe in aliens, but faced with a black hole of secrecy from the group of suspects, he and Oscar have their work cut out to catch the murderer…before they strike again.
It's another case for Dan and Oscar to solve!
A gripping new murder mystery series by bestselling author T.A. Williams, perfect for fans of Death in Paradise, Lee Strauss and Beth Byers.

Dan and Oscar solve a mystery in the Italian Alps
Not set in Tuscany, but in the mountains of Val d’Aosta in Northern Italy.
The author seems to know this area just as much as he knows Tuscany, and it makes an interesting read.
However, the group of UFO enthusiasts although well described, was not quite as interesting as the “cast” of previous books.
Oscar is such a typical Labrador, with irresistible lovely eyes, I’m glad he got to run around the woods in the Alps.
The reader does a great job, unfortunately for me the plot was not as engaging as the previous books.

Another great cosy murder mystery!
I enjoy cosy murder mysteries with good storyline but with none of the heavy swearing and over the top violence.

Cosy listening for this time of year
Easy short listen. Love the descriptions of the scenery and food too. Good plots and feel good vibe. Makes a change from blood and gore the narrator is perfect for these books.

An entertaining Listen
I've listened to several of these books now and this one is as entertaining as the others. The descriptions of tge location add depth and the continuing presence of Oscar the dog add a gentle touch. I tend to get a bit lost with the twists and turns of the plot but it always enjoy the characterisations.

Fantastico!
Totally hooked and loving this series of Oscar & Armstrong adventures set in Italy.
Stories are all beautifully written by T.A. Williams and brilliantly narrated by Simon Mattacks who does so many great accents that it feels like you’re lutto a full cast production!
T. A. Williams books really should be considered for a TV cosy crime drama series as the plots contain a great deal of fun and humour (and a dog with character) as well as being serious police crime investigations, each story is well researched and will keep you intrigued to the end.
Romance yes there is, but thank goodness no embarrassing and unnecessary sex scenes. Highly recommend.

Just love this series
Good story, easy listening and easy to follow without any too convoluted plots, and the narrator makes it all the more a good listen. Please keep this series going, I feel like Dan and Oscar are old friends now🙂
