About this listen
Nico’s the one for me. Too bad he’s my brother’s best friend...
Friends and brothers are off-limits. That’s always been the rule in our house. In a big family, it’s the only way to keep the peace. That doesn’t stop my heart from belonging to Nico, my older brother’s best friend.
I’ve been able to put aside my feelings for years, but now that I’m an intern at the law firm he owns, all those feelings are threatening to overflow.
He says he doesn’t do relationships, and that work is all he has time for, but when things heat up between us, I know I’ve found something worth fighting for. I’ll prove to Nico that I’m the guy for him. It’s time to throw out the old rules and make new ones of our own.

enjoyable
I really enjoyed the story. Typical brother/friend story. Although what I thought would be large story plots were just twists in the story. I am actually intrigued enough to continue with this series and can't wait for book 2. The only thing that turned me off but not enough to stop listneing was the production of the narration, this would be based on the post production or the set up the narrator has. Also I am sure will be fixed (this was listened to within a week of release) but heard a few glitches.

Men at work? Love wins
So, I do love a good bit of best friends, brothers, and work drama, and the story di not disappoint, but I wasn't overly enamoured of the narrator, Tyler Darby, but that was down to the fact that his voice didn't immediately grab me the way some narrators do. He does relate the story very well though, so I was still able to enjoy the audiobook while I puttered around my flat.
Recommended if you like lawyers and big families. Plenty of sibling drama!

Enjoyable
I always enjoy the brother’s best friend trope. The new-to-me narrator was pretty good, and the storyline was sweet. I did get a bit annoyed with one MC at the end, but he pulled his head out of his butt, so all is well that ends well. I’d recommend this to anyone looking for a medium-heat read, sweet read.

Great
I do love a brother’s best friend book, and Nico and Jamie are a joy to read/listen about.
Lots of passion, their chemistry is off the charts and their connection is very intense. I liked getting both POVs, both characters are very likeable.
There are a host of interesting side characters who I’m sure will get their own story as the series goes on.

My Brother's Best Friend(Brotherly Love Book 1) by Aiden Bates and Ali Lyda.
The story line and characters were good. It was a little slow for me at times but came together in the end.
The Narrator Tyler Darby did a good job bringing these characters and story to life.

A great voice for a wonderful book...
I love any book that have Aiden Bates name on it, just because his writing style. In this case, what made me love this book is how easy is to follow the story and immerse in the plot laughing and suffering with the characters making it a really enjoyable reading. The premise is uncomplicated, well handled and followed up until the last consequences, with a balanced quote between angst and happiness and hot. Finally, at the end, all settled nicely and we even have a future book to expect (Saint's story). Of course all is better when you can put your headphones and immerse inside the story thanks to the profesional performance of Mr Darby. I loved how he made his voice attuned with the differents characters specially Jamie and Nico. A great reading!

Slow-burn, forbidden love
An enjoyable start to a new series.
Jaime has harbored a crush on Nico, his brother's best friend for years.
Too bad there's a strict no brother's friends rule.
Now Jaime's all grown up, working in his brother Saint's and Nico's law firm.
Suddenly Nico is all too aware of Jaime.
Some mild angst due to the fact that Nico is the love 'em and leave 'em type which of course cones back to bite him.
Jaime was so sweet and absolutely adorable, if a bit immature at tines.
The narrator did a pretty good job, just seemed stilted at times.
