I can see this is a great portrayal of obsessive love and the twist was excellent and unexpected. I did find it dragged though, I wasn't gripped, despite being interested in the ending. Glad I listened, don't think I'll reread though

One of the most interesting and unique books I’ve come across in a while. Perfectly matched narration. Sometimes it drags on a little but the payoff at the end is great

Couldn’t stop listening. Other reviews seem to spotlight the ending, but I urge you to go along for the journey because the writing and narration is brilliant. Ending is good; it’s not disappointing but not as jaw-dropping as I hoped but to me it was all worth it for the few hours of listening.

You have to wait for the ending but it’s worth it. I love the obsession of this book with a sprinkling of juvenile behaviour.

This was the best random find, it took me completely by surprise and I massively enjoyed the ending! It’s a great short book, it isn’t too short as there was nothing missing - loved it!

Genuinely intriguing at times but also frustrating - the listener has to go through what the wife goes through in maticulous detail because that’s what the book is about . Th detail of a race for power in a relationship

This was so much fun and so uncomfortable, made me feel completely insane and laugh at myself. I don't usually like to use a credit on anything this short but so glad I did. The narrator was perfect for the character. I got this because rof Getting Hygge with it's YouTube April wrap up and so glad I did!!
