About this listen
Editor reviews
Author Robert Wicks provides a concise introduction to Nietzsche's philosophy. In this audiobook Wicks examines Nietzsche's rupture with God, but perhaps more interestingly, he examines the philosopher's positive outlook on life. Wicks' analysis of Nietzsche's life and works exceeds expectations and clears up some of the misconceptions surrounding Nietzsche's legacy. This recording is perfect for listeners who want to learn about Nietzsche's influence without being intimidated by the grandiosity of the subject. Richard Aspel's narration is energetic, and his enthusiasm for the subject is contagious to the audience.
Other than that it's an ok read, it does seem all over the place, especially when you listen because there's little indication as to when the reader is quoting a paragraph of text from a different document.
