About this listen
The shocking truth about the murders of Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman.
Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman were brutally murdered at Nicole’s home on Bundy Drive in Brentwood, California, on the night of June 12, 1994. The weeks and months that followed were full of spectacle, including a much-watched car chase and the eventual arrest of O. J. Simpson for the murders. The televised trial that followed was unlike any that the nation had ever seen. Long convinced of O. J.’s guilt, the world was shocked when the jury of the "trial of the century" read the verdict of not guilty.
To this day, the LAPD, Los Angeles District Attorney’s office, mainstream media, and much of the world at large remain firmly convinced that O. J. Simpson literally got away with murder. According to private investigator William Dear, it is precisely this assuredness that has led both the police and public to overlook a far more likely suspect. Dear now compiles more than 16 years of investigation by his team of forensic experts and presents evidence that O. J. was not the killer.
In O. J. is Innocent and I Can Prove It, Dear makes the controversial but compelling case that it was, in fact, the "overlooked suspect", O. J.’s eldest son, Jason, who committed the grisly murders. Sure to stir the pot and raise some eyebrows, this book is a must-listen.

In this real-life investigation piece, private investigator William C. Dear knows one thing: O. J. Simpson is innocent of the murders of Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman. William Dear sponsored is own six-year long investigation to prove this pact, and look at overlooked or missing witnesses and evidence. The largest part of theory is the little-known suspect Jason Simpson - O.J. Simpson's eldest son, who had a history of mental instability. All of this makes O.J. Is Innocent and I Can Prove It an incredible alternate look at the famous 1994 murder trial. Narrator Fleet Cooper does an excellent job laying out the material through audio.

Very interesting and well put together
I really enjoyed this book. It backed up what I always thought and a lot of effort was put into proving his theory. However I wish I had just bought and read the book myself as the narrator spoiled it a bit for me.
The silly ‘girl’s ‘ voices and ‘foreign’ accents he employed were unnecessary and put me off.
The author was slightly arrogant and self congratulating of his own skills but he did a good job and I feel there is a compelling case for arresting Jason Simpson !!

Interesting
The theory and investigation is really interesting but the book itself is overly long, often repeating the same evidence as nauseum. Having said that I listened to the end so it must have had me hooked, even though I listened to see if anything else was going to come out. Overall if you like true crime you will like this!

Not brilliant, worth a read though.
I struggled to finish it towards the end due to how repetitive it was, but all in all it wasn't a bad read. Sometimes a little farfetched. The title of the book is misleading though, OJ is not innocent, far from it in fact, EVEN if somebody else was there with him that night and they committed the murders, he has known all about it, all this time and denied involvement. The Judith Reagan interview is all you need to see to make your own mind up. Great narrator though, made the story feel that little bit more tense.

Compelling and thorough but repetitive
The first half of the book moves at a nice pace and is very engaging but after that it just becomes so repetitive and a slog. The author is a little too fond of patting himself on the back at times too. Brilliantly narrated.

Compelling
An enormous amount of work went into this independent investigation. I did not think my mind could be changed. I was indeed wrong. Excellent detective work with no stone unturned. Thank you Mr Dear.

Made me question his guilt!
I listened to this having already made my mind up as to the guilt of O J - frustrated by the outcome of his criminal trial and putting the outcome down to racial prejudice. However the sheer volume of facts and the logical reasoning I listened to here made me pretty sure that the case for my initial surety was at best rocky. This book is excellently written (something that cannot be said of many true crime novels) and superbly narrated. Truly gripping, yet full of detail at the same time, I thoroughly enjoyed this title and gained much inside into a situation that has seemingly been analysed to death. My expectations were low but I was very pleasantly surprised by this book!

A must read
If you have any interest in the OJ case then read this book.
I’ve always thought the jury made the right decision weather O.J. was innocent or guilty.
I now think the possibility of his innocence is almost proved!
The book was a bit long winded and repetitive at times but still worth the listen!
Mr Dear you did a great job and I hope you are still pressing for this case to be reopened!

Fascinating and convincing
This was a fascinating listen - with clear evidence that there is a suspect that the LA police failed to properly consider.
The book could have done with an editor - there were several sections that could easily have been trimmed and written more succinctly, however I am still very glad to have listened.
