Finally, I got to the beginning of Nell Ingram's story, the moment she meets Jane Yellowrock and things are set into motion that will change a lot of things for a lot of people.
Loved the narrator's voice and her rendition of this text.
And now of course I want to reread the whole Soulwood series 😍😍😍

Jane finds herself in Tennessee on the trail of a missing Vamp As Enforcer for the MOC of New Orleans Jane is to assist one of his Fanghead subordinates, but Jane soon discovers the Leo wasn't told everything nor the urgency of the mission Along the way she finds a new Vamp enemy, a possibly new Vamp "friend" and a latent paranormal being who could be the key to solving the disappearance of the Vamp. Along the way Jane discovers true evil that doesn't come with fangs. In the background "Beast" offers commentary. A great short story set just before Book #7. A worthy tale that contributes to the Legend of Jane Yellowrock, Rogue Vampire hunter

I loved this story, In fact I love all the Jane Yellowrock books, and Khristine Hvam did a fantastic jab as always. My only criticism is the price. It was a little expensive for such a short story, and it hasn't been made available for kindle so you can only buy it as an audio book.

No major emotions it was not an emotional story as far as I am concerned. Worthwhile listen.

I thought it was a little expensive for less than two hours listening but I am a sucker and will always buy any new Jane Yellowrock.

after reading the soulwood books I was expecting a lot more from this story. there is very little contact between Nell and Jane. the last 35-40 mins is the beginning of the next book
