About this listen
Can true love be their crowning glory? Olivia Charlton is a princess who believes in love - not a high priority in a royal family hung up on tradition and duty.
Meanwhile, village sweetheart Rosie Perkins has no time for affairs of the heart - she's just struggling to keep her cafe and life afloat.
When Olivia heads to Cornwall to escape her royal duties for a few weeks, the two meet and sparks fly. But can a cafe owner and a princess truly end up with their own happily ever after when all the odds are stacked against them?
Contains mature themes.

Enjoyable
An easy read, the characters are likeable and I found myself easily rooting for them to have their happy ending. Storyline is fine, princess in hiding and a down on her luck cafe owner. The romance between the couple is a good element of the book. Definitely worth a read.

True love at otter bay
I thought this book sounded awesome a princess falling in love with a cafe owner in the UK.
It was a great book and I was rooting for them to get together, princess Olivia and Rosie had great chemistry.
I will say I was disappointed with the ending as I really wanted it to have a royal wedding as that’s what this whole book was about, so I feel really let down. You could have done a 10 minute epilogue of the wedding, as every fairytale ends with a wedding.
The narrator did a fantastic job at the voices and you could clearly tell the characters apart especially the two lead females.
This book is from Olivia and Rosie point of view.

Great romance
The princess in disguise and the struggling Cornish cafe owner a well written fun fairy tale. Princess Olivia, the first out member of the royal family runs away to Cornwall to escape her arranged engagement with a suitable former girlfriend and meets Rosie, cafe owner and almost the only lesbian in the village. A romance begins. Secrets, lies and family responsibilities cause issues and tensions. A bit far fetched but a nice romantic story. Narration by Fleur Strange is excellent.
