About this listen

After nearly eighteen months at Basgiath War College, Violet Sorrengail knows there’s no more time for lessons. No more time for uncertainty.

Because the battle has truly begun, and with enemies closing in from outside their walls and within their ranks, it’s impossible to know who to trust.

Now Violet must journey beyond the failing Aretian wards to seek allies from unfamiliar lands to stand with Navarre. The trip will test every bit of her wit, luck, and strength, but she will do anything to save what she loves—her dragons, her family, her home, and him.

Even if it means keeping a secret so big, it could destroy everything.

They need an army. They need power. They need magic. And they need the one thing only Violet can find—the truth.

But a storm is coming...and not everyone can survive its wrath.

Adapted from the novel and produced with a full cast of actors, immersive sound effects, and cinematic music!

I’ve been waiting for pt2 to come out for what feels like forever! Absolutely loved it, only slight downside was the music choice at points of the book that should have been emotional and tense but the music came across light hearted instead. Aside from that this series of dramatised books have been amazing, can’t wait for the next one!

Just finished Part 2 and I’m blown away!
I deliberately held off reading the second part of Onyx Storm so I could experience it fresh through the GraphicAudio version first — and I’m so glad I did. I’ve followed this series from the start, reading each book as it came out and listening to previous GraphicAudio editions, but this time I took a different route. Experiencing it like this made it feel truly cinematic — like watching a movie play out in my mind.

The voice acting, the sound effects, the way the characters come to life — this is hands down the best adaptation yet. Huge credit to everyone involved.

Best Graphic Adaption - EVER!

So, so good to have the second half of the graphic audio for this book. Still desperately want the next one because the cliffhanger is insanely impressive. The voice cast are brilliant and the sound effects are fantastic. Recommend so much it's unreal.

Love it so much

Out of all the moments I was eager to relive, I did not expect that one to hit the hardest. Especially since it did not when I read it. Yet that chapter was so perfectly performed that I was stunned I actually cried.

Whoever played Imogen's chapter, you have my heart

Captivating

the story is a little too much all over the place. Random change of POV was poorly written (Imogen). The story is "we need to do this!why? well I have feeling or I don't know but we need to do this everything depends on it!" Some of the decisions or plot twists if you can call them that make no sense. dramatic audio I feel got worse during the series, got lazy? background music doesn't really have the effect alone. electricity and dragon sounds were mostly dropped off. Few thunder sounds that's it. my arm was broken and yelled it pain and the most cringe aaaaahhhh sounds were absolutely horrible. oh well, was a good run while it lasted.

potential turned into a mess
