After a failed rescue attempt, the Corvinus sisters, Sunny and Jo, are trapped in the Ettrian palace with the dark king. Palace of Moonlight, the second book in the Corvinus Chronicles, is an excellent followup to the first book. It's well-written fantasy with sci-fi elements and at times dark undertones. The second book is more engaging with more suspense and action scenes. The world-building in the series is brilliant and compelling.

Jillian Yetter does a fabulous job with the narration, bringing the characters to life. Overall, this is a very entertaining series, and I look forward to the third book. I was given a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.
