Perfect for teens
This author clearly knows teens. The real life examples and exercises really bring the book to life. I wanted to have a listen before passing it on to my daughter and I have not been disappointed. Excellent Personal Finance Guide for Teens
The biggest mistake we parents make when it comes to our children is not teaching them about finance. I know my parents never taught me. Their philosophy was that I was a child and didn't need to know about adult things. WRONG!! Young people are barraged every day with the buy, buy, buy culture that exists in this world. Knowing how to make good choices is based on developing good spending habits from an early age. We learn as children how to be good citizens and that education is the most important part of becoming successful. Personal Finance should be part of that education. William Burke has left no stone unturned in this excellently comprehensive book for teens. Teenagers will learn every aspect of how to manage their money. It should be part of every teenager's library. After all, a financially prudent teenager becomes a financially prudent adult.
