I am listening to these out of order, with this one it would have been better to have listened to it before the later ones - my fault. It just removes a little of the suspense.

This story was so full of angst and difficult decisions - it wasn't just a normal police procedural but all the characters had such depth to them and anguish. Loved learning more about the lieutenant.

As for the narration, I could listen to Cheryl May narrate a phone book she would put such emotion into it. I just loved the narration she really brought the emotion to life.

Another brilliant book in this series
