About this listen
When the Pineapple Port crew packs up a snake-bus and head to North Carolina for a vacation, the Outer Banks will never be the same....
Wall Street Journal and USA TODAY best-selling author Amy Vansant packs up the Pineapple Port crew and sends them north in Book Five of the hilarious mystery series you won't believe!
The Pineapple Port crew takes a road trip to the Outer Banks, North Carolina, only to discover “body bits” in their vacation home. The nursing home next door is run by some suspicious characters, and one of their residents is missing. Hmm.... As the bits o' somebody pile up (and Mariska keeps them neat and safe in a butter dish), amateur sleuth Charlotte Morgan and her friends must solve the murder before a storm blows them all back to Florida!
The Pineapple Port Mystery Series is both sweet and wicked, and always hilarious! Fans of funny mysteries that remain real puzzles to the end will put the Pineapple Port series on their virtual shelves next to Janet Evanovich, Carl Hiaasen, and Jana DeLeon.

Who knew finding body parts was so much fun
This book was so much fun, I can easily see it as a film or at the very least the whole Pineapple Port Mysteries being turned into a tv series.
It contained the usual characters and humorous moments that have you laughing out loud but what was usual was the setting, I liked them being stuck on the beach in a storm. I really enjoyed the mystery as it unfolded and the little clues the author gave you as to who the killer was. It kept you guessing.
Charlotte and her friends go on a working holiday and it's not lot long before it turns into a bus mans holiday for Pi's Charlotte and Seamus when body parts start turning up in the house (the book is a cozy mystery so no graphic details are used to explain the parts . I am just glad that you can't get smells from listening to a book). With the only neighbours in the area a nursing home and no way for the police to get to the remote location, it's up to them to find a killer and more importantly a body.
Another plus to this book is the narrator as she does such a brilliant job with all the voices.
I highly recommend this book if you need a laugh.
