Great story line I thoroughly enjoyed the book,narration was brilliant looking forward to the next book.

Bit improbable in places, there are too many long pauses and repeats in the narration which is frustrating - doesn't someone edit these? Apart from that the story is interesting.

Mystery, suspense and intrigue with great characters.

While on the beach he sees darkness and wanders about his future. It is then a body washes ashore. The police quickly pronounced the death accidental. Mason thinks differently he believes the man was murdered and someone is trying to cover it up.
The locals make it clear that they want Mason gone. But they picked on the wrong man

What a constant joy Audible Plus is, I have discovered several fabulous authors that I would not have come across otherwise.

This story and the cracking Narrator was a joy to listen too. A slightly James Bond(eque) believibility about the main character's combat stamina but, for me, it did not detract from the excellent plot. Thank you.
