Summary

Excellent narration of the first Poirot novel

Enjoyed this a lot. The novel itself, her very first, is less polished than Agatha Christie's later works and whilst many of her books still feel fresh and modern today this one is rather more conventional. But I liked listening the details that I didn't pay so much attention to when reading the book and it was fun to see how quite a few of her characteristics storylines and patterns are present in an early form in this work.
