Deeply fascinating and enlightening
This book opened my mind to a totally new description of the world, her geography and her politics. It challenged my current perception of humanity, power and resources. The narration of the book was excellent. Love to read more on geopolitics.

Brilliant and insightful
A great insight in to how geography has shaped the past, the present and what will happen in the future. Very impressed with current research in to current events and politics from around the world.

Interesting and Informative read
This was a very interesting book which provided a lot of information on why countries behave in certain ways. Also explaining the challenges of the geography of the regions on their decision making and policy. It was well read and not heavy but reasonably easy to assimilate.

Fascinating knowledge.
This was brilliant at explaining why the world is the way it is. There’s no bias in it which is refreshing. I really enjoyed it and wish more people understood the complexities of the world in which they live. This would be good subject matter for high school students. It really provokes thinking and questioning.

So interesting
I read the previous reviews and thought I’d give it a go, I found it very interesting and informative and gave an insight into just how delicate the nations of the world have to interact for the sake of global peace.
I would recommend this book to anyone who just likes to know what’s going in the world and how politics interact between nations

Tour de force
Great explanations and account of history and geography’s impact on it. Well worth a read.
Only problem with the book and the tesis is that it explains everything and therefore tends to explain nothing - and offers little that can be used to think about what we can do to change the course of history.

brilliant book
