Worthy of a Netflix binge watch series!
Brilliant! I have waited an age to listen to this book having listened to all the previous ones twice. I wasn't dissappointed and now bereft that I have finished it.
The story and historical detail, for me, is much much better than even Outlander and I would be extremely happy if the Runes stories were made into a series for television.
Also, the narration is perfect, natural, no jumping straight into the next chapter or grim monotones. Voice changes are seamless and each character recognised.
I wish that CC will continue this story, but if not, then begin something similar - 🤞🙏

Definitely recommending
Here was a man travelling back in time, so it was more interesting for a change. It also had more action and interaction.
I loved meeting again the characters from previous books. And the short story at the end of the book was a cherry on the cake!
