Zbiór opowiadań o małej, odciętej od świata, polskiej wsi. Nie można ich streścić – są na to zbyt krótkie. Trudno je też opowiedzieć – są bardzo wysublimowane. Nie da się ich spuentować – gdyż każde z nich nie tylko zawiera puentę, lecz samo jest puentą... jakiegoś aspektu życia toczącego się przed górami i lasami (dokładniej: nad Wisłą). Nie można ich też w żaden sposób sparafrazować – są wyjątkowo oryginalne i niepowtarzalne. Jest jednak coś, co można zrobić i to bez większego trudu: można te bajki przeczytać. Świetna zabawa gwarantowana.
