Loved every minute of this.

Very inspiring and no-nonsense approach to doing the thing we feel most called towards. Recommend for any creative who’s struggles with self doubt and procrastination.

Blinding flash of the obvious…but seldom acted upon…

I’ve read several of Stephen‘s books, and his insights are both relevant and inspiring. This small but powerful book will be helpful to any aspiring artist, writer or other prevaricator. It’s helped me get my head in order, and has a good chance of putting my ass where my heart needs to be. Thank you, Stephen.

Another good kick in the ass

I have listened to Steven's first book War of Art before and I still do from time to time. In this one he quotes a lot of it here and there, and reinforces much of what was already said, but still a good listen. A blunt reminder to us artists to just sit and do the work because it's not gonna get done by itself if we want to get where we want in life.

Excellent

Continuing Pressfield’s support for writers and artists everywhere, this book is made up of
short, pithy chapters with a different provocation or piece of advice in each one. I really enjoyed it.

Just Don't.

Sit at your desk. Move to Hollywood. Commit yourself and make friends with successful people who may offer you a handout one day.

There, I've saved 2 hours of your life and an audible credit. I listened to this "book" out of spite because after the first half hour Amazon wouldn't let me review it, which is probably why it only has 5 star reviews, no one who hates it is willing to listen to grandpa ramble for another hour and a half.

There at 80 chapters in this book. The shortest chapter is 10 seconds long. The longest is 3 mins 24 secs, and consists of the author reading an article that he read in the newspaper. You'll find quite a lot of this "book" is stuff like that. Stuff that the author heard somewhere once and decided to read to you.

Do yourself a favour and find a video on youtube or an inspirational poster of a cat, it will do you more good than listening to this.
