Really Good, just wish it was longer.

I could have listened for hours to the exploits of 'the man with the Nissa Micra' as he decides to become an assassin and blunders his way around. Brilliantly written and narrated, left me wanting more.

A blip

It is probably fair to say that Conn enjoyed writing and reading this story; I imagine someone who has been running ultra marathons for years being invited to do a Park Run with a neighbour and relaxing into a gentle 5 k in 50 minutes.
It is cleverly written but not laugh out loud and not for me.

Laugh out loud funny

What did you like most about Quantum of Tweed?

I liked the humour, and a couple of times I laughed out loud. I also liked the idea of an ordinary bloke accidentally becoming a hit man and each of his 'accidents' along the way.

What other book might you compare Quantum of Tweed to, and why?

Many short stories by Roald Dahl have a twist in the tail - this has twists throughout and a humourous ending which I defy anyone to see coming.

What does Conn Iggulden bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

This is my first Conn Iggulden book. He brought humour and managed to get a lot of detail into a short story.

If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

"It's definitely NOT James Bond"

Any additional comments?

I tend to read other people's reviews before buying any book and from them I was expecting a good read / listen but this exceeded my expectations.
