About this listen
Women are missing and dying in the Triangle area of North Carolina. One woman holds the key to why. With the conclusion of the Y-Man murders nine months ago and her resignation from the FBI, former Special Agent and Behavioral Analyst Rainey Bell has finally found peace and contentment she never thought possible - even if she remains a bit paranoid. Her wariness is justified when a monster from her past rears his demonic head. Rainey has faced death and evil before - alone. Now it’s different - she has a family to protect, her own. Only Rainey can keep them alive. Or can she?

I also find RE Bradshaw one of the more professional lesbian writers out there, and that is also reflected in the quality of the editing.
The moment I saw that the second of the Rainey Bell books had been added to the audible store I instant purchased it, and I hope that the rest will follow because I would add them to my audible library without a single hesitation. In fact, I hope all RE Bradshaw books get added as I would be happy to buy them all.
The narrator was not somebody I had heard before, she's not as good at including the range of vocal inflections that some narrators have to help you recognise which character was talking, but she's not as bad as some I've heard.
One of the better lesbian authors out there

A great thriller

Would you try another book written by R. E. Bradshaw or narrated by Shannon McManus?
The story starts of well but then becomes predictable and rather boring. It's a shame as the thriller side of the book was intriguing to begin with but then falls apart. It was overly descriptive for my taste and when I heard the word 'always' being repeated I wanted to scream. I will not be rushing to buy any more of Bradshaw's books.Did the narration match the pace of the story?
The narration was fineIf this book were a film would you go see it?
