Growing up, Ben was an accomplished athlete who was always looking for an opportunity to run, ride, kick a ball or compete. After graduating from university, he went on to work for a prestigious private equity firm in London, but after a pivotal year of battling skin cancer and losing one of his family members to illness, he decided to take the jump and follow his dream of helping others through health and fitness.

An interesting and inspiring listen
The author in this book demonstrates great vulnerability at times. I appreciate his honesty which creates a space for relatability. He also comes across as caring, genuine and enthusiastic throughout. I feel people across the board in a number of different situations in life could take inspiration from this book.

A beautiful written and read book
Having met Ben at the peloton Studios several times, his personality on screen come across in the book,
He is humble and tells his story of how he has handled life’s challenges, and about the mental struggles and how he recovered.
A lovely touch at the end when he goes into his proposal to his fiancé Leanne, showing vulnerability but also the strength challenges through at us!
Highly recommended, even bigger fan of Ben after this audible book!

Massive Ben Aldis fan here
Being a huge peloton fan and Ben being my number one instructor and Leanne a very close second (her ex Sheeran ride is by far the best ever though - sorry Ben) this was a must read for me.
His story is so powerful, and relatable in so many ways. I am very grateful to be part of the peloton community despite my many injuries….. I am currently at the Army Rehabilitation Centre trying to rehab my knee so I can continue to do what I love - cycle.
Thanks for sharing such a powerful story and give me the kick up the butt to change….. even little changes will help, this book told me that. We didn’t come this far to only get this far.

Inspiring listen
Ben has been one of my Peloton coaches for over 3 years and I found this inspiring, thought provoking and life changing. Being Dyslexic myself, I have empathy and first hand experience of the challenges he faced and still faces. I beleive that Dyslexic people see things differently and have tremendous drive to succeed. Thank you Ben.

Inspiring listen
A really interesting and useful listen. Lots of great advice along with simple honesty. There are so many doable hints and tips in this book for becoming a better person on a number of levels. From really simple things to improve our overall positivity to more challenging ideas to get us healthy. A book that would definitely be worth a second (or third) listen.
