Summary

Penguin presents the unabridged, downloadable audiobook edition of Reached by Ally Condie, read by Matt Burns, Jack Riccobono and Kate Simses.

After leaving the society and desperately searching for each other - and the Rising - Cassia and Ky have found what they were looking for but at the cost of losing each other yet again. But nothing is as predicted, and all too soon the veil lifts, and things shift once again....

In this gripping conclusion to the number-one New York Times best-selling Matched Trilogy, will Cassia reconcile the difficulties of challenging a life too confining, seeking a freedom she never dreamed possible and honoring a love she cannot live without?

So boring

I have finally struggled through all three of the Matched-books, after I read good, and in my opinion misleading, reviews online. The first book is the best, which isn't saying much, and nothing happens in part two and three which couldn't have been dealt with in one book alone.
The characters are flat and uninspiring. The only thing the author truely manages to convince me about is that Cassia loves book. But her romance and every other relationship she has is over analyzed and yet has no depth at all, which is in itself remarkable.
The characters of the book all fight for the right of free choice, but in the end it becomes clear that that disappeared a long time ago. They end up in exactly the same place as they started, just under a different name. Throughly depressing and boring. The pseudo intellectually doesn't help either.
