Poor

Narrator rushed through it with all the passion of a text-to-speech application.
It was not possible to make out the chapter announcements from the content as he does not pause for breath.

Occasionally he sounds almost human but unfortunately the subject matter of the book is not what the title suggests.
This was extremely disappointing as I would like to have known more about slave ownership in the Roman times and how citizens and slaves interacted.
