About this listen

Rumi & Sufi Spiritual Liberation: The Stations of Remembrance (Stations) recounts the first four of seven stations that prevail on those who embrace Sufi Maqamat (the science of levels of being). It is for those who aspire to discern the signs of attainment of the Sufi path of self-realization.

Divided into four parts, Stations is deeply informative regarding the profound Spiritual Psychology of Sufism & the teachings by the great Master of Wisdom, Jalaluddin Rumi.

• The first section presents introductory material, a coherent model of psychological integration, and the spiritualization of self. These serve as a useful underpinning for any seeker to navigate the often-unwieldy nature of Maqamat.

• The second section discusses two essentials of spiritual development: the penultimate importance of Presence and the requisite ardent aspiration to finding greater proximity as a spiritual lover to the Beloved.

• The third part instructs the listener on the four most important stages of spiritual liberation along the Sufi path of love.

• And finally, the fourth part of Stations is a glossary of terms, provided to better comprehend the vast lexicon of Sufi spiritual psychology.

Stations is written to later be accompanied by a second volume to recount more advanced Sufi psychological themes and the last three stages of the path, known as The Stations of Permanence to final and absolute liberation of the perfected human being who achieves full self-completion.
