A great account.
What an absolutely great account of one man's (and those around him) part in the Vietnam war. It doesn't dwell on any one aspect too much but rather, gives a well rounded, personal and detailed account of what he saw and experienced. Thank you for writing it.

Narration ruins an interesting an excellent book
The story and writing are well worth a read if the day to day lives of those who fought in the conflict are of interest to you however the voice narrator ruins the book by reading at a super high speed and with little expression or feeling. Such a shame they couldn't do the book and the soldiers more honour by a bit of quality control.

Brilliant story. Well done.
Absolutely fantastic storyline, great narration, engaging honest depiction of war told through a soldier’s story. We honour those that fought for our freedoms. Well done..

Narration number 10 G.I.
I'm not sure I can make it to the end. It's a great and fascinatingly human story, let down by some of the dullest narration I've encountered.
In this particular instance the narrator is monotonous, emotionless, and rapid. I had to check it was narrated by an actual person as it felt like an AI voice bot.
Good narration can really elevate a story, if you want to know what bad narration can do, check this title out.
Actually made me want to purchase a paper copy of the book, because this does seem like a great and interesting story.
