Such a brilliant book with great stories and insight. The only issue was the narrator. He mispronounces names of players, managers and football grounds throughout which is frustrating to listen to. I don’t think Jeff would be happy either.

I’ve listened to this iconic voice from the very start of soccer Saturday and I have to say it’s been a pleasure to chill out and relax and now and again chuckle too

unfortunately these books don't work nearly as well when not narrated by the author. no offence to the narrator who did a good job but Jeff's voice is well known and telling his story in a different voice doesn't work.

I really enjoyed listening to this, I usually prefer it in the writers voice and probably would have with this one, but Chris did an excellent job and it was sometimes hard to tell that it wasn't Jeff. This audiobook gave an excellent insight into Jeff's personal and professional life, some of what I knew nothing about. I would recommend this audiobook for anyone, especially fans of Jeff and followers of his career and football in general.

The narrator’s voice is quite annoying. He is trying too hard to sound like Jeff. I think he improves as the book goes on, but this audiobook would be so much more enjoyable and authentic if it were Jeff’s voice you were listening to, and not an impersonator. Shame.
