Summary

She lived her whole life enslaved to the dragons.

But now she’s one of them.

Seventeen-year-old Kaida, a human, has spent her entire life enslaved to the dragons who slaughtered half the human population 1,000 years ago. She is forced to serve her ruthless master, Eklos, until one deadly summer day when the Prince of Elysia saves her life.

Prince Tarrin steals her away to the royal palace, shocking Kaida when he reveals that she is mutator formarum. He promises her safety, but when they uncover a dangerous conspiracy to rid Elysia of the royal family, she begins to question how safe she truly is. And when desire blooms between Kaida and Tarrin, in the midst of fighting for their lives, she must choose whether to save the very creature she swore to hate, or allow him to perish…

And destroy her own heart.

this is amazing

📚So, this is my first book for Emily Schneider 🎊
📚 I started following her on IG because of her cool reels .. but her series is amazing!!

📚 Quick review ⤵️

📚 I really liked the book setting. So interesting, rich, and creative... yet, I wanted more information though about the world.
📚Dragons 🐉🐲 and magic
📚 Different types of dragonsssssssssss
📚SHAPESHIFTERSSSS
📚Enemies to lovers
📚 I really loved the simplicity of the romance in this book.. so cute.
📚 I wanted more characters' depth .. like maybe more background on their personalities.
📚 I enjoyed the language in this book!!!
📚 I found the book a bit slow-paced.. but this did not irritate me. I guess every book 1 in any fantasy series is like this
📚 I hope this review is helpful .. totally recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐

bad narrator and childishly written

the story sounded like it was going to be great! however it’s very childishly written. who doesn’t realise storm clouds can’t get close? no depth this story could have been great but it’s just lacking. the narrator wasn’t great why is the maid irish?

no spice
