Short, scary and romantic

I wish this story was longer. There was so much packed into this short story. The demon thrives on the pain of those left behind. It was easy to relate to that loss. But when the demon spoke, it was certainly creepy. I did enjoy this book and I did not feel like I missed anything by not listening to book one, but I want to go back and read it now. This story has a lot of potential and I hope there are more installments.

Scarlet Billow has a great voice for the scare factor in this story. Her performance of the demon had the hairs on my neck standing. She really brought this story to life. I hope that she continues with with the collection.
