A great collection with some problematic editing
Four great stories which need no introduction. I enjoyed them all. The narration was generally good, although it suffered from a couple of frequent issues:
1) I get the impression it's an American narrator employing a British style accent, and as a British listening I did not it come apart in some places. In particular, the narrator seemed to struggle with the pronounciation of certain UK town names and London districts, which is understandable because British place names can be super dumb and unintuitive, but still pulled me out of the story.
2) There are some significant editing clangers. Quite a few times I heard the narrator repeat the same line twice, a few times he did a strange "trill" sound as though working the tension out of his lips, and at one point (12 hours 6 minutes 16 seconds) there is a big ol' unpleasant nasal snort.
I'd recommend this collection of stories, but I would recommend looking around to see if the same collection is available from another narrator. If it isn't, this one will do.
