Summary

I loved the narration of Ryder Wolfe and Serena Moon
Caterina witnessed Angelo carrying out a murder so instead of killing her too, he insists that Caterina marries him. One problem is years ago Caterina had a one night stand with him but he does no recognises her. From that night resulted in her having a daughter who she had not told him about. Caterina agrees to marry Angelo. Catarina just wants out of the life, wanting to give her daughter a safer life.
When he releases Caterina's daughter is his, Angelo sets out to do all he can to win her back and to take care of his daughter. Catarina finds it hard to accept Angelo for who he is, regardless of the fact he never gives up on her.

Caterina and Angelo
Caterina had the misfortune to witness Angelo carrying out a murder so instead of killing her too, Angelo insists that Caterina marries him. Caterina recognises Angelo instantly as the man she had a brief relationship with which resulted in her having a daughter who she had not told him about. Caterina agrees to marry Angelo but sees it as a way to escape from the mafia lifestyle; her stepfather is a mafia capo. Once Angelo finds out that Caterina's daughter is his, and his old attraction for Caterina resurfaces, he set out to do all he can to win her back and to take care of his daughter. This is a fascinating story to listen to with lots of twists, but do get past the first few chapters for it to become really interesting.

Great listen, marriage to save two lives.
Angelos friends are having children and settling down, and he’s starting to think that may be a good idea. Catarina, having witnessed Angelo kill a man, has to choose between marriage or death, she also has a young daughter to protect, who unbeknownst to Angelo is his too.
Catarina hates the mafia life she has now, and wants to get away from it all, to protect both herself and her daughter.
The book is well written, and found the narrators easy to listen to.
Really enjoyed this book.

Secret Mafia Daddy (Alpha Mafia Daddies)
🎧🎧AUDIOBOOK REVIEW🎧🎧
I picked up a few audiobooks via Booksprout in the last couple of weeks, and Kira Cole happens to be one of the authors in the mix. This story is the second I’ve listened to by Kira, and unfortunately, I’m still not convinced me, and Kira would make a good author/reader pair. I don’t know who does the editing and beta reading for this author, but they aren’t doing her any favors. I’ll still try to connect with Kira’s work when the opportunity arises and I have the time, but my time is limited so we’ll see.
I’m still not a huge fan of the narrators of the story, Serena Moon and Ryder Wolfe, but I don’t give up easily so again, we shall see.
I liked the idea of this story but the plot fell short at almost every turn. It’s underdeveloped in many places, and it honestly makes no sense in a lot more. I’m giving the story an overall rating of 2 stars because I finished it and it was not not an okay listen. I’m looking forward to maybe one day raising the bar from not not okay to at least okay or maybe even good when it comes to a Kira Cole story.
