Great ideas for young girls
I have a preteen girl and will be a teenager very soon. She is very hard to talk with and she tells me she is not go at things. I want to find ways to help her be more confident. This book was a great way to get some new ideas to try. I love the topic and and creativity of the characters we meet to teach us confidence. I just feel that it one character seems a bit childish in her voice. I feel like its ment for younger girls. I loved the part about confidence comes from being uncomfortable.I never thought of this. It was easy to follow and I wanted to keep listening. A great book.

Building My Daughter's Confidence
My daughter, Maya, is an amazing kid with a big heart and a bright future. But lately, her confidence has been a little wobbly. Seeing her shy away from new things broke my dad-heart. Then I found this book by Marta Negrón. It's been a game-changer for both of us. The book breaks down building confidence into easy-to-understand steps. The chapter on getting comfortable with being uncomfortable really caught my eye. It explained how small challenges can actually build confidence in the long run. We started practicing saying "yes" to new things, like joining the school play (gulp!). At first, Maya was nervous, but seeing her excitement during rehearsals warmed my heart.
