Good.
Skilfully written pieces. And I’m sure engaging for many readers. Not so much for me. This perhaps because I have never been a girl/young woman growing up in the twenty first century. Neither timeless nor universal. Good all the same. Much eludes me, I know.

Best short story collection EVA
I love this so much and return to it again and again. The insights into childhood, adolescence and young adulthood are so good. There’s humour, pathos and so much humanity. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Thoroughly engaging stories
Sams has a ferocious talent and a mastery of detail. These short stories are intelligent, thought-provoking, and compelling. I hope she is working on a novel.
