Summary

This case is proving a difficult one for Chief Inspector Wexford. All he has to go on is his own intuitive suspicions. Was he becoming cynical and untrusting or was this one of the most ingenious crimes he had ever tackled?

A great old fashioned detective story

I had previously read or listened to Ruth's detective stories and so I was glad to pick up the thread of Inspector Wexford.
loved the audio book. I prefer the narrator's Wexford voice than some of the others.
