This book uses the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures to prove that all the teachings of Jehovah's Witnesses concerning the Last Days and the good news of salvation are unscriptural. The author, an elder of Jehovah's Witnesses for 40 years, shares the results of the last ten years of his research into such Watch Tower teachings as the 1914 invisible presence of Christ, the overlapping generation doctrine, the failed prophecies of 1925 and 1975, the fact that the Governing Body had evidence long ago showing that 607 BCE was not the date of the Babylonian exile, and most important of all, the abundant evidence that the salvation hope offered to the JW Other Sheep is a Rutherford invention wholly without support in Scripture. He also shares his experience on how Witnesses who continue to believe in Jehovah and Jesus can move beyond JW.org without sacrificing their faith.

I was initially hesitant about buying this book as I follow Eric on his YouTube channel 'Borean Picketts' which is very informative. So I was under the wrong assumption that I had heard it all and there was nothing new here. However, I was pleasantly surprised and there was a lot of useful information I gained from this audio book .
This is definitely a book worth buying by anyone who has had contact with Jehovah's Witnesses as well as any student of the Bible who wants to make sure that what they are learning or being taught is really from the Bible and not from someone else's interpretation.

I appreciate how well written and fact checked this book is. I encourage all who purchase it to stop every now and then and check for themselves the things that are discussed so that they can see how unfortunately many of us in our strong desire to worship Jehovah correctly have been tricked and robbed of our true spiritual heritage
