Smart
Good balance of action and introspection. It’s smart, engaging, and refreshingly grounded for a space opera. The narration complements the story’s tone quite well.

Interstellar warfare
Search, like Enigma, intertwines multiple storylines, delving into interstellar warfare with futuristic technology, and the resilience of those who navigate the technical challenges of this imagined future. The novel offers a blend of action, intrigue, and character development, enriching the universe established in Enigma.

Just brilliant !
Having only a minimum number of inventions like the FTL drive, anti gravity and basic communications a small multiple of FTL, enhances the tactical genius behind the story. The characters are well developed and superbly narrated by Jeanie. Even the alien voices are well thought out, and at least to me, what I would expect bearing in mind their physical description, I look forward to the next installment with eagerness.
