Even the wild man of Greenhollow can't ignore a summons from his mother when that mother is the indomitable Adela Silver, practical folklorist. I adored both these stories though if I had to pick one, the first was my favourite. The writing style is stunning and really creates this amazing world of magic and strange creatures. I loved spending time in this world with the narrator who made each character stand out beautifully.
Need to get myself a physical copy!!
