Amazing book

The narration speed was fast so I had to reduce the speed to 0.90 to make it more understandable and pleasant.

Great book, difficult to bear narration

I had been wanting to read this for some time as I very much enjoy Kim’s podcast of the same title and had been looking forward to hearing him talk more however I was disappointed to realise after purchase that the book is narrated by someone else who sounds like a computerised voice, it really is quite unbearable to listen to. I stuck with it (catchphrases like ‘quite simply’ becoming more and more grating in this robotic voice) and very much enjoyed the content but could not recommend to others due to the narration.

Loved book content but not narrators voice

I really enjoyed and learned a lot with the contents and this will really help me to simplify our lives. I however did not enjoy the narrators voice at all. I almost Ma stopped a few times but as I really wanted to hear the content, I powered through! It’s still a worthwhile listen though :-)

A brilliant viewpoint

This book is a brilliant, informative and badly needed take on life itself. This is by far the best book I have ever read about parenting. I wish I had discovered it earlier, but I can still apply so many principles to my own life and my last teenager in the home!

lots to think about!

Feel some of this is unattainable in my family and it's also a little dated. But loads of interesting and thought-provoking stuff and I hope to implement parts of it.

perfectly timed

what a wonderful book x the slowing down and simplification of your day and your children's day ...to make space for more xxx not more stuff but more being together and being apart xx we don't realise how having so many choices and so many questions is debilitating for our families xx
well worth a listen !
highly recommend x
