ssential money skills better learn earlier

Basic money skills are essential, and why not learn them earlier than later? I like this audiobook, which helps students in grades 10-11 learn the basics they cannot learn from school. The audiobook discusses budgeting, investing, part-time jobs, setting goals, etc. All of them are important skills to prepare them for future financial success, and give a head start to prepare for college. I recommend that parents use what they learn from this book in real-life situations with their kids so as to put theories into practice. The book is easy to understand and a pleasure to listen to.

Wish I Had This Earlier

Got this for my 16 year old, and honestly, I ended up learning a few things myself. It covers everything from budgeting to credit in a way that actually makes sense for teens. My kid even started saving more after listening to it and to me, thats a huge win! The real life examples make it easy to apply, and it’s not boring like some finance books.

Money Lessons That Make Sense

I got this book for my niece because I wanted her to start learning about money before she made the same mistakes I did at her age. I figured she skim through it and to my surprise she actually enjoyed it and even started asking me questions about budgets and credit scores. This book so great and easy to digest. It doesnt feel like a dry textbook and the examples are relevant for teens. My niece told me she never realized how quickly small expenses add up. Now she’s thinking twice before spending all her babysitting money on fast food. I wish I had something like this when I was younger. If you got a teen in your life this is a great way to introduce them to money management.

Good lesson to learn early on.

I wish I had learned about managing money early in life, there are definitely things I regret spending on instead of saving. Seeing young people, like my cousins, spend money so freely makes me a bit worried for them.. This audiobook is something I’d share with them and anyone wanting to build smart financial habits early on. It explains so much about saving, budgeting, and credit in a way that encourages teens to start building good habits now!
