About this listen

It's time to put on my high heels and slow dance with the devil.

Three of them, to be exact.

What do you do when your worst enemies go down on their knees and invite you to the prom?

I said yes because I'm still naïve enough to think that savages can be tamed.

It's going to take a lot of groveling before I can forgive the Serpents for what they've done to me.

I'm hoping this dance is their way of calling a truce.

More likely, it's a trap. A school dance is the perfect place for them to orchestrate the ultimate public humiliation.

Only one way to find out.

Snake is a DARK college bully romance with mature content some may find triggering. Listener discretion is advised.

Book one in this series, Serpents, is available under an author collaboration series. Simply search for "Serpents Logan Fox" to start binge-listening to this dark bully series.

Good Listen

Snake is the last book in The Serpents of Cinderhart Academy series. A lot of secrets were finally uncovered with some shocking truths let out. Secrets that you could not imagine and the sacrifices made to keep these secrets. Plenty of steamy scenarios between Nim & the guys and Nim finally getting a little payback.

Dark Why Choose College Bully Romance

Snake by Logan Fox is a dark why choose college bully romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Chloe Ryan and Benjamin Sands. This is the third and final book in the Serpents of Cinderhart Academy series.

This is the first series of Logan’s that I have read and it won’t be my last. I was hooked from the very beginning and couldn’t wait to see what would happen next. I really enjoyed the relationship that bloomed between Knox, Mason, Silas, and Nim. I really enjoyed getting all of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

Benjamin and Chloe did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this series if you’re looking for a dark romance, bully romance, academy romance, or why choose romance.

My jaw dropped

This book was good the revelations revealed in this book had my jaw on the floor. Nix, Knox, Mason, and Silas took their relationship up in this book. Nim actually gets to fight back against the boys which they deserved after what they put her through. Love this series.

Mostly Satisfying Conclusion

This is the last book of the trilogy and we get to the bottom of the mystery surrounding Nim and her parents connection to Cinderhart. My only bugbear is the mystery of Knox's former girlfriend is never resolved. That had such an impact on both Knox and Eliza that I was surprised it fell off the radar but the rest of my questions were answered and then some.

The Serpents finally get a taste of their own medicine although they got off far too lightly for my liking and I never really felt they earned their chance to be with Nim over the course of the trilogy. Eliza on the other hand...wow. I read this initially back in 2021 where her character had a very different ending and although this was brutal, I did prefer it as she was vile.

Ryan and Sands continue do a good job with the characters; I loved the chapters with the payback as the lighter moments have been few and far between in the series. Knox's POV in particular was great to listen to as Nim's revenge unfolds and he clearly has no clue what is going on!

My interpretation of the star system;
3 stars - I enjoyed it; would read the author again
4 stars - I really liked it; I am invested and definitely want more from this author/series
5 stars - I loved it; I engaged with this book completely until I finished it and it is one I will re-read

My Thoughts on Snake

Book three of this series brought all the answers I was looking to have answered and more. I was a little worried in the beginning because I wasn't seeing the relationship shift and the groveling that I like to see in a dark bully romance once the guys finally realize their true feelings for their girl. But apparently, I just needed to be more patient. In the end this book gave me what I needed, and it ended perfectly. What was also perfect yet again was the narration of this story. I really enjoyed these performers, and I will continue to be on the lookout for more titles from them in future.
