Summary
The fourth heartwarming novel in the New York Times best-selling series about unlikely pairs learning to open themselves up to love in Mystic Creek, Oregon.
Crystal Malloy owns the beauty salon in Mystic Creek, Oregon. It took years of work to stand on her own after a difficult upbringing and to turn her fledgling enterprise into a successful business. There's never been much time for romance, but when a handsome, friendly man stops in to her salon - he's traveling through town on business - she's immediately taken with him. Their friendship quickly blossoms into romance, and the two of them manage to meet up for dates when his work brings him to town. He's honest with her from the start that as a recent widower with young children, there's no real prospect of a long-term relationship between them. Crystal never thought she would marry, so she's fine keeping things light - until the day she realizes that she's fallen in love. She can no longer imagine a future without him. Now she'll have to choose between following her heart or staying in her beloved Mystic Creek with the salon customers who have become like family to her.
Author bio: Catherine Anderson is the author of more than 30 New York Times best-selling and award-winning historical and contemporary romances. She lives in La Pine, OR (near Bend).

My comments.
Catherine Anderson does it again, anyone reading this review who knows me in person or follows my reading habits know I am a massive fan of this author. I have enjoyed every single book I have read by her and this one was no acception, another heart warming story teary in places but powerful and beautiful. The characters as always are well developed and easy to fall in love with. Can't wait for the next offering in this series and by this author. she's a very skilled writer and I look forward to reading her books every time a new one is coming out. The Kate Turnbull has been the reader for the whole of this series and she does a fantastic job. I am already looking forward to what Catherine Anderson might have for us next.
