Great accompaniment to the prequels
If you ever wanted to know more about the story of Darth Plagueis, the wise and how Darth Sidious became who was in episode 3, this is the book for you. The scene where Palpatine tells Anakin the story of Darth Plagueis will have a different depth!

A must read for any fan, can't be missed
absolutely loved this audiobook, great narration and the story is tremendous. so many plot holes filled in and just a joy to listen.

Captivating, well written, good narration, really enjoyable story adds so much to the background of the universe and adds so much more character development to Palpatine. 10/10

Best Star Wars audiobook
A fantastic novel that tells the story of Darth Plagueis, filling in the gaps and building the story leading to the rise of the empire.
Daniel Davis' voice is ideal and adds needed menace to the characters voice. A definite listen to.
