About this listen
Stealing Lincoln is a one-act historical-based spoof of the attempted kidnapping of Former President Abraham Lincoln's dead body. Based on a true story, this is a re-enact-imagiment of what it would be like to by a fly-on-the-wall in Big Jim Kennally's counterfeit gang in their first bodysnatching heist. The gang is infiltrated by one of the first Secret Service spies, Lewis Swegel. Although the real conversations may never be known, The Cleveland Radio Players would like to think it happened something like this...
Starring: (in order of appearance) Robert Branch - Abraham Lincoln, James "Big Jim" Kenally, Jack Matuszewski - Lincoln Honor Guard, Denny Castiglione - Father, Giovanni Castiglione - Son, Llenelle Gibson - Daughter, Cody Zack - Terrence Mullen, Charles Hargrave - Jack Hughes, Logan Smith - Lewis Swegel, Milton Horowitz - Patrick D. Tyrrelle, Cory Shy - Secret Service Agent, David Flynt - Billy Brown, Train Conductor
