Gerald Durrell at his best
I am familiar with Corfu and the life and works of Lawrence and Gerald, and this is spot on. Transported by back to that magical Island.

Delightful ... short, but a lovely listen
I so enjoyed Gerald Durrell reading his own stories.
Lots of laughs, and bits of interest. Yes, a bit short ... but I bought it in the £3 sale - so well worth it!

Lovely tales
Beautiful stories narrated by Gerry himself. A lovely companion to the books and so full of life. Perhaps an overuse of the word 'belligerent' but I wonder whether this wasn't just a state of being for the family when in conversation!
