Summary

From New York Times and USA Today best-selling author Kylie Scott comes a new story in her Stage Dive series....

When the girl of your dreams is kind of a nightmare.

As head of security to Stage Dive, one of the biggest rock bands in the world, Sam Knowles has plenty of experience dealing with trouble. But spoiled brat Martha Nicholson just might be the worst thing he’s ever encountered. The beautiful troublemaker claims to have reformed, but Sam knows better than to think with what’s in his pants. Unfortunately, it’s not so easy to make his heart fall into line.

Martha’s had her sights on the seriously built bodyguard for years. Quiet and conservative, he’s not even remotely her type. So why the hell can’t she get him out of her mind? There’s more to her than the Louboutin wearing party-girl of previous years, however. Maybe it’s time to let him in on that fact and deal with this thing between them.

A brilliant addition to the Stage Dive series.

I was gutted when I finished the Stage Dive series, so I had high expectations when I listened to Strong. What I got was a perfect addition to the Stage Dive series. This is a fun, sweet and sensual romance this time focusing on Ben's sister Martha and Sam, the long suffering, stoic, security for Stage Dive. Previously Martha has not been a likeable character, however after several years have passed, it is a far more mature, interesting Martha that comes to stay with her brother, sister-in-law and nephew. In addition to the romance it was nice to see a nicer side of Martha. Her relationship with nephew Gibby is entertaining and touching. I would have loved for this to be a full length book as I cannot get enough of this series, however, it works really well as a standalone as I already knew her history with her family and the band.
Andi Arndt provides fabulous narration. Having narrated the rest of this series, I expected great vocal acting and Ms Arndt once again delivered.

A good addition to the Stage Dive books

I remember these characters in a previous book, and was pleasantly surprised to read about them. The protagonist is a strong character - she stands steadily on her own, but it's good to see that she has found her match.

This book has a good mixture of romance and plot, and the characters are lovable.

I would recommend it - short and sweet.

Martha is not my favorite

Martha is true to her character and I do not like her. But this is still a good addition to a world I love. Stage dive is the best series I've ever read.
