A lovely narrative to accompany the picture book

The story, music and narrative was great. My 4yo loved it. Works better with book?

great

I can find it a bit noisy and irritating but my toddler loves it so it's worth it ;)

Narration and music balance completely wrong

Great story for kids but production/recording terrible. Narration not audible over music. Audible should remove until it has fixed the issue

I like the story but the balance is all wrong

I like the story but the sound balance on the recording is not good, at some points the words are barely audible where the sound effects are extremely loud. This is a real shame in a story where the words are most of the charm.

Sound production poor

We have lots of the stories in this range of Julia Donaldson audiobooks. They're brilliant and Imelda Staunton is as great as ever in this one, but the production isn't right. Her narration is much quieter than the incidental music (and miaowing) and as a result we're constantly faffing with the volume, which is a disappointment.

Poor

The story is predictable for Julia but the audio version is awful! The sound isn't level with the narration so it's too difficult to hear what's going on. Not great for bedtime
