Summary
A Brother's Best Friend, Low-Angst Romantic Suspense
One year ago, I walked away from everything I knew and all the lies I’d been told.
For the first time in my life, I was free from the constraints put on me by power hungry men, who twist faith and devotion into fear and control.
All to feed their own egos.
Now my sister’s ready to leave, too, but the only one who can help me save her is a ghost from my past. One who’s haunted my thoughts more than I’d like to admit.
Christian was my older brother’s best friend. He saved me countless times when I was a little girl, protecting me from the wrath of my unpredictable father, when everyone else in the house turned a blind eye.
Except Christian’s no longer the lanky teenage boy from my memories.
He’s older. Darker. Deadlier.
He’s changed in ways I’m only beginning to understand. Ways that make me desperate for his touch. Ways that make me worry he still sees me as that little girl instead of the grown woman I've become.
But one thing hasn’t changed.
Christian is still willing to do whatever it takes to keep me safe...and he’s more than ready to prove it.
This book features:
Age-Gap (10 years)
Brother's Best Friend (former)
Touch Her and Die (literally)
Dirty Talking Hero
No Cheating and No Third Act Breakup

Loved the book and thoroughly enjoyed the audio,
This is the first of the Sinners and Saints Series with a link to the Lost Boys series.
Loved the book and thoroughly enjoyed the audio, Alistair nailed Christian.
Both new to me narrators and did a grand job.
I love the Lost Boys, this is Christian’s book and gahhhhhh what a story Janice had for him.
Lydia needs help and she’s about to put all she’s done in the last year on the line to save her sister. She’s been given a tip off of someone who could help. However, that person is the last she would have ever expected to see again! And it doesn’t go to plan, leading her into even deeper water!
When an unexpected face from his past firmly lands on his doorstep, Christians world is turned upside down in so many ways.
This has a great background story for both Christian and Lydia, touching on religious cults and their treatment of females!
Both having escaped it once, they have to put everything on the line to go back to save her sister! Christian knows that also includes his Brothers (the Lost Boys) finding out what he’s been continuing to do!
This is an all the feels book, emotionally and spiritually liberating for Lydia, with a good dose of retribution too.
We have new characters who are going to hopefully lead us to more fantastic books in this series.
I’m rooting for Tate and Piper next, she’s is another level firecracker and think she may break Tate 🤣🤣
