About this listen
The loyalty and courage of Wally are as long as his whip-ended tail. Guiding his friends fearlessly in front, he leads them to food and water while staying ever alert. One day, chased by Gruff the lion and his pride, Wally retreats backside first into Hatty Hyena's den. Will Wally be left with a tail? And how will his bush pals react to a warthog with a stump tail?

Wonderful Wally Keeps Children Enthralled
Would you listen to Wally Warthog Parts with His Tail again? Why?
Yes! Wonderfully evocative and educational tale which transports the listener to the heart of the African bush. A welcome change from my children's usual choice of entertainment!
What other book might you compare Wally Warthog Parts with His Tail to, and why?
Other stories from the "Tales of the Full Moon" collection by Sue Hart.
What does Rula Lenska bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
Rula's silken voice brings each individual character to life, accompanied by the sights and sounds of African animals in their natural habitat. Perfect for feeding the imagination when stuck on a seemingly endless motorway!
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The tales are short and sweet but from the very outset, when the jungle sounds begin, I can see the children sit up in their chairs in anticipation.
